About the Event
Seedy Saturday is an annual market that brings local vendors together before spring comes to discuss seeds, gardening, sustainability and much more. Penticton's 15th Annual Seedy Saturday will offer a number of organic seed vendors and growers, bedding plants and garden products.
There will be bedding plants and a free seed-swap table. Master gardeners, as well as Penticton’s garden club and other farm businesses. This year’s event includes a number of local growers and food producers with a wide variety of local products, including honey, juice, cheese, baking and an increasing number of local producers offering gluten-free products.
Four free speakers/ workshops are also scheduled. FTFO member Eva Durance will present at 1:15 pm on xeriscpaing and water saving in the garden.
Door prizes and speakers will round out the day. Parking is free on the weekend at Okanagan College. Event is in the Jimmy Pattison Centre.
