2022 Penticton Local Election All-Candidate Forum on Environment and Sustainability
Municipal leaders have the power to make amazing impacts and create lasting legacies for generations. That's why we're thrilled to host an All-Candidate Forum on the Environment and Sustainability to help promote awareness of climate change and work to find solutions for a better future.
When: October 6th, 2022
Time: Doors open at 6:30, 7-9pm Forum

What: Candidates will be asked questions on topics ranging from environment and sustainability, but be as broad as economic recovery, housing and community safety. 18 candidates have confirmed attendance.

Tune in from home:
Penticton's community radio station, CFUZ - Peach City Radio, will provide live broadcast coverage of the forum. Listeners can tune in live on their radio at 92.9FM or online at www.cfuz.ca during the event. Following the forum, CFUZ will provide a link so that those interested may download and listen to the event if they were unable to attend.
A little way to give back:
Okanagan College is running a FunDrive until the end of November – collecting clothes, shoes, accessories and household textiles (sheets, towels, napkins, etc.). For every bag of clothes or other soft goods donated, they will receive money that we will put towards their Holiday Hampers for students in need. We will have a table set up outside the community hall at the event in case anyone brings a donation. More info on the Fun Drive available on their webpage.
