Jaclyn Whittal is the Founder and CEO of One Earth Communications with nearly 20 years of experience at the intersection of climate science, extreme weather, and public trust. She brings a distinctive combination of scientific expertise, frontline reporting, and executive-level communication strategy.
A trained meteorologist, Jaclyn built a high-profile journalism career translating complex atmospheric data into clear, actionable insights during high-impact events. Her field experience spans reporting on tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and blizzards around the world, shaping her ability to communicate risk with clarity, credibility, and composure under pressure. Her work has appeared on major global platforms, including CNN, The Weather Channel, National Geographic, and Smithsonian.
